COVID-19 & Important Announcement from the Board & the Field Trip Committee

Dear RBA members:

Unfortunately, with the alarming continuing rise in COVID-19 rates (as of December 10) the Board of Directors, the Field Trip Committee, and the field trip leaders decided that it is prudent to cancel at least the first three field trips of 2021. This decision was not taken lightly, but out of concern for all our field trip attendees and leaders—even gathering in the outdoors is discouraged by the Monroe County Health Department at this time.

Whether the January 23 trip to Avon and the January 31 trip to Lakeshore Plains West, will go, will be decided on January 15.  Please check the RBA website (rochesterbirding.org) for the most up to date information. Eventbrite registrations will be available 7 days prior to the trips if they are a ‘go’.   We are all looking forward to the time when we can once again enjoy field trips together!  Stay safe and well everyone.
