The mission of DU is to fulfill the annual life cycle needs of North American waterfowl by protecting, enhancing, restoring, and managing important wetlands and associated uplands. This presentation will give an overview on the habitat-based restoration strategy of Ducks Unlimited, highlighting priority areas, priority species, enhancement techniques, and recent projects in New York. The importance of partnerships to the success of wildlife conservation in New York will be discussed as well as how conservation enthusiasts can get involved.
