Volunteer

Everything that RBA does is driven by generous volunteers who care about birds and birding and want to share this passion with others. We are led by a volunteer board of directors, and we have committees staffed with friendly volunteers who put their heart and soul into our publications, data collection, education, outreach, and conservation work.  Volunteers also convene throughout the year to help with one-time events and initiatives.

We hope you’ll consider serving the RBA, either on a committee or on the Board of Directors. Many hands make light work, and we could really use the help! Please view our list of current committees and contact either the committee chair or the RBA club president if you’d like to learn more and see how you can fit in.

Each year, one colleague is awarded the Little Gull Award for their outstanding contributions to RBA.
