Powder Mills Park & BANC Sanctuary Joint Field Trip with Burroughs Audubon Nature Club – Registration Opens May 7, 2022
On the east side, Powder Mills Park is a mature woodland and wetland park that can be productive for many late-migrating or nesting species. In recent years, Baltimore Orioles, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Scarlet Tanagers, Pileated Woodpeckers, Red-tailed Hawks, American Woodcocks and Blue-winged Warblers have all nested there.

On the east side, Powder Mills Park is a mature woodland and wetland park that can be productive for many late-migrating or nesting species. In recent years, Baltimore Orioles, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Scarlet Tanagers, Pileated Woodpeckers, Red-tailed Hawks, American Woodcocks and Blue-winged Warblers have all nested there.

New York State Ornithological Association 71st Annual Meeting – 2018
The 71st annual meeting of the New York State Ornithological Association (NYSOA) will be held October 5 – 7, 2018 in Henrietta, New York. This meeting will be hosted by the Burroughs Audubon Nature Club (BANC) and the Rochester Birding Association (RBA).
