Taylor Marsh is a preserve owned by the Bergen Swamp Preservation Society and located in Ontario County north of Honeoye Lake. It is best known for marsh birds, including both local bittern and Virginia Rail. However, the star attraction is the 2-3 Sandhill Cranes that have been present in this area all year around for many years.

We will meet at 8:00 a.m. in the preserve parking lot at the SE corner of Lake Rd. and Phillips Rd. in Webster. We will look for early spring migrants along the hiking trails.

This trip is for the spring hawk flight and migrating songbirds. We will be working to identify distant raptors and meet some great new people, too! This requires a short walk across grass to the viewing platform.
