April is a great time for migrating raptors and passerines, and we’ll take advantage of the timing by taking a walk through the Owl Woods. We may see lingering Northern Saw-whet Owls and Long-eared Owls, and we’ll search for a host of early-migrating passerines like Ruby-crowned Kinglets and Hermit Thrushes. Afterwards, we’ll take a walk down to the bay to scan for waterfowl. The woods will be muddy, so wear muck boots or wellies if you have them!
